Every October, our community focuses their attention on an incredibly important and universal health issue: breast cancer. During the past weeks you may have seen product packaging, football uniforms, and even the Eiffel Tower turned pink in order to increase awareness and fund research for breast cancer awareness. It is estimated that breast cancer will affect one in every eight women during their lifetime, however, due to increasing treatment and early detection education, more and more affected women have been able to fight the disease.
